TRYING TO EAT MY OLD WEIGHT GAIN DIET IN ONE SITTING | C.O.B. Ep.156

The cringe is strong with this one…But I thought it’d be a laugh nonetheless! People often ask me to do full ‘normal day of eating’ videos…But, as I mentioned in last Tuesday’s bonus episode, a ‘normal’ day of eating for me pretty much consists of one tuna salad. That’s it.

So I thought it might be fun to take a step back in time and try to eat my entire daily diet back when I was at my heaviest bodyweight!

POINTS TO NOTE:

1) The diet I was following at this specific point was for a short period only before returning to a more modest intake of around 3500 calories per day. The pictures included for reference do not perfectly reflect my condition/composition at the precise time, they’re just the closest photos I had to hand (I don’t have a huge collection).
2) I am not advocating that anyone try follow this as a diet regimen. I simple thought it would be fun to show the kind of things I ate around 7 years ago at my heaviest body weight, when I was even more active than I am now and had goals orientated towards hypertrophy.
3) As you get older, your priorities change. So for those of you wondering why I don’t look like this now, it’s because I have better things to do with my time than exercise for hours every day and constantly over eat, all to simply look a certain way. It was a pursuit I enjoyed for a time, but now I exercise purely for practical levels of strength and optimal health.

ANSWERS TO COMMON QUESTIONS & ADDITIONAL INFO:

Q: How come you don’t get fat?
A: I eat like this for 1 hour of a 168 hour long week. In simple terms, I eat at caloric maintenance over the course of time, meaning I don’t gain weight.

Q: Don’t you worry about your health?
A: Not in particular. I’m active. I eat nutrient dense foods five days a week. And, I get quarterly bloods done, amongst other health checks.
