Tips for a more effective workout

1️⃣ Have a plan for your workout- there are many apps and websites that provide free #workoutplans for you if you’re new. I live the app @bodybuildingcom & @ifit

2️⃣ Have a pump up play list full of music that makes you feel like the powerful, strong badass that you are

3️⃣ Put your phone on airplane mode- it’s so easy to distract yourself by scrolling or replying back to a group chat so resist the urge and put your phone on airplane mode.

4️⃣ Maximize gym time with supersets and minimal rest periods. I do this a lot because I typically only have an hour to an hour and a half before I have to run to my next meeting.

5️⃣Log your progress so you can track how you progress over time. Trust me, it’s fun to see the results!

6️⃣ Get enough sleep and take active recovery days—this is HUGE!! You body needs rest and it’s truly how your muscles and body repairs itself. If you don’t get enough sleep, there’s serious health consequences that can be resulted due to fatigue if this becomes a chronic issue.
