The Ugly Truth: Steroids RUINED Bodybuilding For ALL Women

0

Contest prep just got darker. If you’re a woman in bodybuilding, you need to hear this. The truth is out, and it’s not pretty: steroids have ruined the sport for all women.

In fact, it’s gotten so bad that the 2023 Arnold Sports Festival removed figure, women’s physique, and women’s bodybuilding from the pro line up, citing financial reasons and low interest from female athletes.

But is that really the whole story?

When this happened to women’s bodybuilding years ago, the reason their shows were cut was clear…

Too much steroid usage among the women.

The truth is that it’s almost impossible to be an IFBB Pro without taking some form of steroids, research peptides, or prohormones. Many competitors have quit competing entirely because it’s getting too out of control.

And let’s be clear: it doesn’t matter if you’re in bikini, wellness, figure, fitness, or women’s physique. Steroids are having a terrifying impact on the look of the sport. The standards of beauty and athleticism are getting further and further out of reach for the average woman.

It’s time for us to wake up and face the reality of what’s happening to our beloved sport. Should athletes demand change and hold our governing bodies accountable? Can we take back the sport we love, or is it too late?
