There are many benefits to an elimination diet but the main goal is to help identify which foods are troubling you.
I recommend removing the foods you suspect might be bothersome for 3-4 weeks. Then you add them back one by one and see if your symptoms return. This is considered the best way to test because it allows you to see how you feel once you remove the food and then again when you reintroduce it.
