Sam Long – Threshold + Speed Workout

With 2 months until the World 70.3 Ironman Championships and 3 weeks until the PTO US Open in Dallas, Sam Long is back training at altitude in his home town of Boulder, Colorado. We joined him for a “back to basics” workout involving 12km worth of intervals at threshold followed by some speed work.

The workout: 6 x 2km, 4 x 400m, 200m (200m jog recovery).
