Oils are one of the most controversial nutrition topics of 2022. Specifically, there are a lot of misconceptions about vegetable oils. Much of the negative publicity vegetable oils are receiving have no evidence to back them up. As with anything, a lot can become a problem, but there’s no reason to stress about the small quantities being in certain food products or recipes.

I recommend using mostly extra virgin olive oil, and including other oils occasionally when their unique flavor profile is desired. Be sure to include other healthy fats from whole, plant foods as much as possible, such as nuts, seeds, avocados, and fatty fish 🫒🥑🥜
