Mark’s Philly Cheese Steak Sandwich
Ingredients
400 g quick frying steaks, cut into • very thin strips
1 tsp. black pepper
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp. olive oil
1 onion, diced
1 garlic clove, chopped
Few splashes of Worcestershire
4 small baguettes
grated cheddar & mozzarella cheese
Method
Season the steak with salt and pepper (be as generous as you like with the pepper). Heat a frying pan too high and add the olive oil. Add the onion and garlic clove and stir fry until browned.
Once browned, remove from the pan, set aside and add the steak strips. Quickly cook until browned through and then add the onions and garlic back to the pan with a few splashes of Worcestershire sauce.
Without turning the heat off, divide the meat and onion mixture into four sections in the pan and place a grated cheese onto each and let it melt for a minute or so.
Once melted for a minute, scoop into a baguette
