KUNG PAO TOFU
Kung Pao is traditionally made with chicken so for this vegan version I subbed it with some tofu and it works wonderfull! The sauce is sweet, spicy, sticky and very easy to make! This recipe as a whole is perfect for an easy weeknight dinner that will hit the spot. Here we go:

INGREDIENTS:
– 1 block tofu, cubed and padded dry
– 4 tbsp corn starch
– 3 tbsp dark soy sauce
– 3 tbsp water
– 3 tbsp rice vinegar
– 1 tbsp mirin
– 1 tsp chili flakes
– 1 tsp Szechuan pepper
– 1 small piece of ginger, minced
– 1 garlic clove, minced
– 3 tbsp sugar

RECIPE:
1. Mix the tofu together with 2 tbsp of cornstarch and mix well untill all the cubes are coated.
2. Meanwhile heat up some oil in a pan. When hot add the tofu and fry each side untill golden brown
3. In the meantime add all the ingredients for the sauce in a bowl and mix well.
4. When the tofu is done mix with the sauce
5. Serve with some rice and spring onions!
6. ENJOY!!!
