HIRT So Good! | 20 Minute Full-Body High Intensity Resistance Training Workout

0

Grab a set of dumbbells (5-15 lbs) and join me in a kickass HIRT workout (High Intensity Resistance Training).

This full-body workout is sure to burn tons of calories while building lean muscle. This type of workout also increases resting energy expenditure, which in turn affects the fat-burning hormones in the body to increase fat oxidation. When you do HIRT, you increase your excess post-exercise oxygen consumption (EPOC) as your body works to recover from training. This means you burn more energy and your body is more likely to break down stored fat.

Modifications are provided. Enjoy!
