Flax seeds / Alsi अलसी Recipe, Recipe for Weight Loss, Flax seeds recipe, Tasty and Healthy food for healthier heart, Uttapam, Alsi Sooji Uttapam

Ingredients Required:
Sooji – 1/2 cup
Flax seed flour – 1/2 cup
Besan(Bengal gram flour) – 2 tbsp
Lemon juice – 1 tsp
Baking soda – 1/8 tsp
Oil – 1/4 tsp(for greasing and cooking)
Salt – To taste
Water – 2 cups
Chopped tomatoes and onion for topping

Step By Step Recipe For Uttapam :

In a bowl, combine semolina, flax seed flour, besan and 1 cup water. Mix well. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Add another 1 cup water, salt and mix well. Finally add baking soda and lemon juice, mix lightly.

Grease multi cook tawa with oil, pour a ladleful batter on the tawa and spread in circular motion to make uttapam of desired thickness. Add topping of choice like chopped tomatoes and onion.

Preheat microwave at 210°C. Once preheating is done, keep tawa on high rack and bake for 5 minutes at 210°C
