A lack of vitamin D can lead to bone deformities such as rickets in children, and bone pain caused by a condition called osteomalacia in adults.
Apart from your 15 minutes of sunlight a day, there are many other good sources of vitamin D, such as:
✅ oily fish – such as salmon, sardines, herring
✅ red meat
✅ liver
✅ egg yolks
✅ fortified foods – such as some fat spreads and breakfast cereals
If you haven’t been for a walk today, make sure you add one of these foods to your diet!
