Guilt-free Feta Burgers! Yes! I made these tonight and they are both healthy and delicious! Paired with a side of Parmesan Garlic Sweet Potato Fries with a Habanero Huckleberry Dressing, they were the perfect healthy comfort food to start the weekend off!
How do you do guilt-free comfort foods?
Recipe below! (Disclaimer: I don’t measure!)
Burgers:
1 package 93% lean ground beef
1 package whole grain or whole wheat buns
1/2 container feta cheese
1 egg
To taste:
garlic salt
kosher salt
pepper
garlic powder
onion powder
paprika
Mix all ingredients together, form into 5 or 6 balls and place on wax or parchment paper, flatten, and grill until done. Place on bun and enjoy with light mayo, mustard, ketchup, super greens, feta cheese, pickles slices and sliced grape tomatoes. Yumm!
Sweet Potato Fries:
2 sweet potatoes
To Taste:
Olive Oil
Grated parmesan
garlic powder
onion powder
paprika
pink salt
course pepper
Peel and cut potatoes into fries. Put into bowl and mix all ingredients together. Air Fry for 15-20 minutes or until crispy.
Habanero Huckleberry Dressing:
Greek yogurt
light mayo
habanero huckleberry jelly
honey mustard
Whip even portions of all ingredients in small bowl. Enjoy with your fries or even with your burger!
