You know how some books are great until they are not ? This is one just that. It’s quite gripping. The writing is fast-paced. You can understand the characters and where they are coming from easily. It creates that bond with you from the start.
It has Gone Girl vibes for sure, but has tried a little too hard with the climax. You can see it coming if you have read too many thrillers. If you are realitively newer to the genre, you will enjoy it a lot more.
Lila and Aaron have a troubled marriage and it ends with the husband’s death. Lila killed him and relax this ain’t a spoiler. But, everything after that, is Gone Girl gone completely wrong…for Amy. Is the dead really dead?
