Let’s talk about Turmeric:

Turmeric is a widely known and available kitchen spice, commonly used in curries and soups. You may even have some in your spice rack!

This spice can be a great addition to your meals but, did you know that it also has some amazing health benefits?

Turmeric comes from the root of the curcuma longa plant. The active ingredient in turmeric root is curcumin. Curcumin is responsible for the yellow color and the wonderful benefits!

Here are our favorite ways to use turmeric:

– Scrambled eggs

You can even take it as a supplement in capsule form.

✨Pro tip: for optimal absorption mix turmeric with black pepper or healthy fats like olive oil, avocado oil nuts and seeds!
