𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝘆𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳.
In every pursuit or goal I’ve ever had, the desire to find a shortcut, or “easy-way” plagued my mind.
If it was easy, it would be feel better right?
On the other hand, it always felt like I was straying from my values, and what I believed in if I pursued something that wasn’t true to who I was.
Patience, honesty, transparency are words that come to mind that I stand by.
Could pretending to be something I’m not get me places faster? Maybe? I’m honestly not sure..
Would it be honest? No. Would it be right?
Not to me.
Staying true to myself is something I’m proud to do. Being who I am and what I stand for is something I take great pride in.
